"As the days went by during this particular week, I was feeling a sense of calm that was different from the previous weeks which had turned into months and then years. Each day I continued to intercede on my own behalf. Then came the Thursday, specifically at 1030am when the answer came, I was filled with different emotions from anxiety to calm. I was in a public environment at the time and could not verbalized what was really happening and what I was feeling. After leaving that setting I was now by myself, I was driven into a prayer of thanksgiving. I was filled with gratitude and confidence in my God.

In putting this experience into perspective, I can and have concluded that God is real and he answers prayer. No matter how long, he will answer. I also looked retrospectively, was can conclude that I was not ready for the answer had it came earlier in the years prior. Why? because the time was not right. On Jan. 30th was the right time. As you are reading my experience, I would like to encourage you to not give up on yourself and on God. As you go through your situation, you must remain faithful to God, praise like you have never praise before,hold your head up, don’t walk around wearing the persona of defeat and grief. Maintain your trust and stand on his spoken written word. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” Jer. 29:11 KJV
On Sunday Feb. 23 I am back again with a new request of the Lord and as he had come through before,he will again answer no matter how long it takes because I will stand on his word, and on his promises. He continues to pull me through no matter what the situation or the circumstances, I believe and I know that he will answer"

"A few months ago God blessed me with a beautiful baby girl. During this time I was also seeking a nearby church in which I can become a member to build a closer relationship with God. In coping with life’s issues and making preparations to have my baby dedicated, I found the Grace New Life Center. After contacting Bishop Beckford I anticipated my first visit to the church. My first visit was warm, welcoming and inviting. On this day I received a blessing from the message “The Permanence of Your Circumcision”. On the Sunday of my daughters dedication by Bishop Beckford my invited guest, which included family and friends also received a warm welcome. During the service Bishop Beckford spoke on the origin and key fundamental factors in the dedication of a baby, and the importance of raising a child in the eyes of God. Bishop Beckford’s message will leave a long lasting impression and comfort within me in my path to spiritual renewal, personal growth, and effective parenting in raising by example. The sermons and messages thus far have been phenomenal, and i am looking forward to my new future with the church. Praise be to God."
